Melodies of Miracles ‘25

June 2024 - September 2024: A six-week workshop equipped rural teachers with skills in confidence building, effective teaching, English development, and inclusive classroom practices.

On June 24th, 2025, Melodies of Miracles returned bigger and brighter at The Piano Man, Saket, hosted by Fight4Rights in collaboration with Building Lives and Platform for the Needy, and proudly supported by the Ugandan Embassy in New Delhi. The event brought together 30 young performers, whose music captivated a full house of 250 attendees. A special highlight of the evening was a spellbinding performance by Mr. Sharad Chandra Srivastava, celebrated violinist, whose artistry elevated the atmosphere and underscored the event’s message that music can move hearts and drive change.

We were honoured to welcome the Deputy High Commissioner of Uganda as the chief guest, whose presence reinforced the importance of cross-border collaboration in tackling hunger and supporting education. The evening succeeded in raising ₹3,00,000, with every rupee dedicated to advancing Uganda’s government mid-day meal policy. The funds are being used to plant crops that will provide a sustainable source of nutrition, directly impacting more than 2,500 rural students by ensuring they remain healthy, focused, and able to stay in school.

The concert stood as a powerful reminder of how music can transcend borders and create lasting change—feeding futures, amplifying youth voices, and demonstrating that when creativity and compassion come together, they can leave a profound global impact.
